We also incorporate the ‘customer journey’, focused on your people, how they operate, move through and optimise your space, so their experience is as efficient as possible.

We use a range of interventions to plan your space, from desks versus seats, furniture types and styles, headcount, estate size and location, available technology, business adjacencies, amongst others. Our people are workplace experts, having helped multi-national organisations and public sector bodies make better use of their space and take advantage of technology and new ways of working.

From understanding how you use your space, through to occupancy planning, improved ways of working for your people and the adoption of supportive technologies, Change Right can work with you to make sure you get the best out of your estate.

We have worked with organisations with strong corporate identities to further enhance this and weave through existing workplaces and new premises. In addition, we have helped organisations formulate new, exciting and considered brand identities to bring their workplaces to life. In working with organisations to bring about new or enhance existing identities, we adopt inclusive design principles to ensure the essence of the organisation, building and brand is accessible to as many people as possible.

Relocating an office, either internally or to a new building can be challenging and time consuming. We start by working with you to define your relocation strategy, understand what is needed to make it happen and help you execute it.

We plan for the move to make sure there is minimal impact and disruption to your operations; we prepare your people, alleviate any fears or concerns, and make sure they understand the why, the where, and the how. We take the journey with your teams, ensuring they are familiar with the new space and understand new ways of working.

We partner with other areas of your business, including IT, HR, Security and Facilities Management to ensure that there is an overarching and joined up approach to delivering the relocation plan. On move day we are hands on, welcoming and orientating people into the new space to make sure they feel at home immediately.

Our support continues after the move has taken place, providing hyper care to ensure your people are settled into the new environment and it is working effectively.

Once your team have settled into their new space, we measure success through a Post Occupancy Evaluation and use this identify what is working well, what may need to change, and any lessons learnt. 

We can’t give you a new culture, nobody can, but what we can do is ‘nudge’ your people to ‘think, act, do’ in different ways. Having successfully deployed our methodology to organisations in the past, we will assess your culture, look at what drives it and plan a series of interventions to help you shape your organisation now, and into the future.

We work with senior leaders to establish the vision, purpose and desired culture, what drives that these elements and how we can introduce tangible actions to achieve it.

We work with all staff, from the root through middle management and to the C suite, to gain an understanding of the positive and negative indicators throughout your organisation and deploy ‘think, act, do’ at all levels to effect change.

Previously we have worked on ‘Reward & Recognition’, public sector mergers and co-location projects. Similarly, we have assisted organisations with ‘return to the office’ projects, seeking to reintroduce staff to traditional working arrangements or more formalised hybrid ways of working, and instill an enhanced culture offering that wasn’t in place before.

Change Right have experience of dealing with all levels of stakeholders, C Suite, middle management and key groups throughout your organisation.

Our engagement is designed to be inclusive from the outset, incorporates our inclusive design principles and has a focus on the desired end user experience.

Through mapping, we assess stakeholders and manage them in line with our assessment tools to ensure key information is gained, communicated and fed back which is critical to getting buy in. We take an empathetic approach, understanding the feelings of loss that can cause resistance to the change and supporting people through this.

We manage stakeholders using multiple techniques, which includes workshops, comms and engagement channels and champion networks. Through effective stakeholder management, we as your transformation partner, can stay informed, feedback key information and concerns, managing your people through the change to make your transformation truly transformative, all whilst keeping your people engaged, happy and listened to.

Part of this is to engage new technology and software, also, equipping your people with the skills and knowledge to work in new ways and understand new processes, we do this through communications and engagement and training and development.

Change Right has worked with organisations, over many years, to establish new models of working. New ways of working aid recruitment and retention as more and more people look for flexibility in their work style; gains can be made for your organisation if your people are up-skilled effectively and often.

In turn, by establishing new ways of working, organisations can seek to re-purpose existing elements of their estate or rationalise, saving money through back-office and building costs.

 As workplace change experts, we have helped organisations roll out new hardware and software, introduced workplace zoning to make buildings operate better, such as neighbourhoods or task-based workspaces, concentrate spaces and spaces to collaborate.

We have consulted and introduced new furniture types and styles to encourage and discourage behaviors in the workplace, all to aid new ways of working. Subsequently, we have delivered workshops and training to train staff, so they understand the goal and purpose and what is possible following the introduction of new ways of working and what behavior changes are needed to realise the benefits of new ways of working.

These range from dealing with architects on your behalf to ensure your business requirements have been captured, to planning your space to give a detailed look at how your workplace operates and where your furniture and fittings will be placed. In addition, we have worked with construction companies through the RIBA process to ensure that builds and renovations remain on-track.

As an organisation, we have capabilities in programme and project management, occupancy and space planning along with design and marketing, branding and managing moves.
